I saw a tweet today. I thought it was cute. Someone asked their fiancé for a hot dog and they wrote “love you” on it with the mustard. I thought of how I like to show affection. It’s in the little ways too. Psychologists talk about strong partnerships typically involving “bids” for connection and the partner responding to those bids with matching energy. I think it’s one of the most beautiful aspects of love, to find new ways to love someone.
